In 1982, the business began to expand globally, with stores in Jackson, Tennessee, Angeles, San Fran, Chicago, Paris, and Berlin, among others. The second site in Toronto, Canada, was established in 1978.
Hard Rock’s decor was initially varied, but it eventually began to display memorabilia. On June 14, 1971, the first Hard Rock Cafe opened at 150 Old Park Street, Hyde Park, Mayfair, London, under the management of (two)Americans, Isaac Tigrett & Peter Morton. Hard Rock introduced Lionel Messi as their Hard Rock ambassador on June 10, 2021, as the firm commemorated its 50th anniversary. Since about July 2018, Hard rock Internacional had 74 locations worldwide, including 172 cafés, 37 hotels, and four casinos. Hard Rock Café International (America) was leased to a Seminole Tribes of Florida in 2007, and it was centred in Orlando, Florida until April 2018, when it transferred to Davie, Florida. The cafe began adorning its wall in rock and memorabilia in 1979, a custom that spread to other locations in the company.
